Set your lasers to stun

On a recent trip to the Gold Coast I had my laptop laseretched by my good friend Kiel (pictured) who works at this great printer, Potato Press.

He also happens to be a talented artist. The power of social media was surely flexing its muscle when I noticed a photo of his artwork laseretched onto a leather notebook, and after several excitedly punctuated comments we’d agreed that in a few days we’d give it a go on my laptop. After a number of test runs (particularly critical as I hadn’t backed up anything and in retrospect probably would’ve been a good idea) I hit the bright green GO button and away we went. It’s fantastic when ideas can come together without much hassle and a person can make a commitment to doing something (and stick to it) without any hesitation. Kiel’s just one of those guys.
